Things to remember before canoeing

Short tours (up to two hours)

  • Follow a set route. It is good to decide the canoeing route before starting.
  • Clothing – it is best to wear as little as possible without actually starting to feel cold. Remember you
    get warm from canoeing.
  • A water bottle is always good to have, especially in summer and warm weather.
  • Use sunblock if it’s a sunny day.

Longer tours (four hours – full day)

  • In addition to the above recommendations we also suggest that you take change of clothing and rain gear.
  • Food, fruit and snacks will be needed.
