Lindekullen is a local heritage site on the highest hill in Hyltebruk. For a long time, people have gathered here for celebrations. The Light Fest (Ljusfesten) is an reoccuring event the first weekend in september. The time when when the summer is transforming into fall.
When the day turns into night, the site itself transforms. As the sun no longer shines from above, new perspectives emerge from the shadows.
The artists who perform music and shape the scene create an experience of a new temporary world, filled with magic and joy.
As earlier years The Light Fest at Lindekullen offers live music, crafts, activities, art installations, food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to meet and connect.
New for 2025 is a bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
Program highlights (5-6th September 2025)
- Friday: A warm-up evening with preparations and community gathering
- Saturday 15:00–00:00: Music, art, food & drinks, activities, and the grand light ceremony
The Light Fest is arranged in collaboration with Tågdagarna (Train Days), another local event. This timing is giving visitors from near and far the chance to ride nostalgic trains and enjoy the celebration at Lindekullen during the same weekend. At the same time, Hylte municipality hosts its Homecoming Days, making it the perfect occasion for expats to reconnect with old friends and family.
